PureStats documentation

Data quality

Review tracker freshness, recorded data gaps and Google or Bing search coverage across your PureStats websites, with practical next steps for each issue.

Open Data quality in the workspace navigation or Review data quality on My Sites. The overview includes only websites where you currently have a membership, even when a website has a public analytics dashboard. Filter it to websites needing review or refresh the status on demand.

Tracker and freshness

Each website shows its current tracking state, last tracking event and last installation check in the website timezone. A recent event is different from an installation check. A diagnostic pixel alone does not establish working analytics. Websites with no recent events may simply have little traffic.

Owners and website administrators can open tracking setup to inspect the installation, use the isolated tracking test, and verify a real visit or conversion. Paused monitoring is shown explicitly; pausing does not stop accepting tracking events.

Recorded gaps

The overview shows recorded website and shared collection gaps overlapping the last 28 days, including gaps that began earlier and remain open. It displays the five most recent gaps and their start and end times. Hidden gaps are excluded.

No recorded gaps does not prove that every visit was captured. Restore collection for open gaps and avoid comparison periods crossing recorded interruptions.

Search reporting readiness

Google and Bing are shown separately. The seven-day UTC window ends three days before today because search reports are delayed. The overview distinguishes:

  • A provider account connection and selected property.
  • The latest synchronization state.
  • Days covered by completed successful synchronizations.
  • Imported query rows within the window and the latest imported data date.

A successful synchronization with zero rows is shown as No rows in this window, rather than data available. Compare the selected property and dates with the provider report: search activity may be absent, and providers can omit queries. Rows with incomplete synchronization coverage are also marked for review.

Search Console settings use the same readiness summary. Website managers can review the connection or retry synchronization there. A connected provider is optional and disconnected providers alone do not make a website unhealthy.
